Here’s your reminder that #AdaptedPE doesn’t always have to be fancy to be effective. Sometimes it’s using what you can find🎳 Sometimes it’s being patient & waiting 43 secs for a S to accomplish a task. But always, ALWAYS, it’s worth it. That small movement is a huge success🥹👏🏼
This deserves repeating. Anyone engaged in education MUST listen to this podcast series by @ehanford: https://t.co/1326GWY83x. It angers me that politics got in the way of reform. The result? Thousands upon thousands of children were not taught how to read. #AllForLiteracy
If you're caught up on Sold a Story and want more, we've collected our previous podcast episodes and articles about reading here: https://t.co/SS5NWkfLwI

Teacher friends: Watch this! Save this to watch again and share, share, share! I would recommend this for k-2 classrooms (not just K), if you have children with LDs in your classroom (you do) or if you are teaching ELLs to read! https://t.co/1k3ooxVr0W
No Educational Assistant should have to work at an extra job on the weekend and evenings in order to pay their rent.
The people who work with the most vulnerable children in #OntEd should not have to rely on the food bank to eat.
I’m not sure why this is controversial.
It makes me nervous to see more funding for tutors without knowing how they will all be trained/deployed.
I have recommended this FREE, low-prep, science-aligned resource to many tutors who are working on foundational reading skills with kids:

Switched up our Say it/Chop it/Write it routine to include chalk on a beautiful night! I am so grateful for all of the @tvdsbslp instructional routines and resources that align with the SOR!
Shout out to all the EA’s out there who go way above and beyond their roles to support students. Our schools could not run without you! Now… can we talk about how they are significantly underpaid? Let’s be better and do better to support EA’s! ❤️
