One of the actors from I Swear, a film about the life of Tourette’s sufferer John Davidson, has come out in support of him following the BAFTAs controversy. The film is based on Davidson’s life, and he also appears in it.
At the ceremony, Davidson was heard shouting several profanities, including a derogatory term aimed at Black people, as a result of his condition.
His co-star stressed that Tourette’s is a neurological disorder people have no control over and that John had every right to attend the BAFTAs.

I watched Withnail again recently, and I'm never less than astounded by Richard E. Grant's pitch perfect drunk. The fact that he's a lifelong teetotaller makes this one of the greatest comedy performances of all time. Richard is a National Treasure.
