Anatomy of a Physio... I saw a similar graphic for another HCP & thought it was a great way to sum up what makes up a Physio (& it was fun to do!)
It's certainly not conclusive-would you add anything? #physio#physiotherapist#physicaltherapist@_ISCP_
@adamdobson123@brianpcurry Unfortunately, with the public system, the long wait times often mean patients are sitting with MRI reports like this with dramatic wording without context for mths/years. That's why pt education is one of the most important roles in triage clinics imo.

Really honoured to be named in Ireland's 30 under 30 this year alongside some great people. @4dayweek_global has a really exciting year coming in 2024. 🗓️4⃣ https://t.co/ToMfUooLJO
I find it sad the Irish far-right hijacked the suffering of Ashling's family to advance their own hatred, bigotry and racism.
It also deflects from an overarching problem.
This thread won't be easy to read but if anyone gets to the end of it, that problem will be self-evident.
Contrary to the belief. Radicular pain isn't always textbook neuropathic.
Perhaps things sit on a spectrum with only descriptors at the far ends being easy to label.
If your pts calf pain is aching, don't rule out radicular pain. But one aspect of dx confidence ⚡️

Doing my end of year taxes. Dietitians get to claim@coru costs but not physios. Nurses get €733 uniform expenses physio only €381 OTs only €217. @forsa surely a case to equalise these deductions from tax? Search flat-rate-expenses on https://t.co/UYEG2tdPjl

In this animation, we demonstrate the dynamic movement of the patella during knee flexion and extension, as well as the crucial role played by the tibial collateral ligament as it pulls the medial meniscus back and forth. We hope you like the result!

@BrownleeJane@slaintecare@OT_NGH @DMHospitalGroup Sounds great. And great to have had 3 CS funded. So do patients have access to the Rheumaology MDT as part of the programme? Also, do you take Physiotherapy referrals from Private Practice?
Physio Ball Dynamic Stork: This will light your glutes on fire! The outside leg will be torched as long as you push hard into the ball.
Great for building single leg stability, balance, and endurance. Also helpful if you have cranky knees.
Shoot for 2-4 sets of 25-45s

This is my 10 year son.
Its football season so I'm going to call him a quarterback.
In November he'll be a point guard
And in March he'll be a catcher.
There is no place for early specialization at his age.
When the season is over we move on.
He loves sports and coming to the gym.
Im past 6 months He's expressed to me the desire to do some training.
My goals for him in the gym are to:
1. Have fun so he keeps coming back
2. Expand movement
skill set
3. Develop structural resiliency and robustness
4. Establish Bodyweight control with eye towards the future.
5. Improve Reactive ability
6. Have fun
His sessions are:
Minimally coached
Semi-structured
Highly engaging
This is what we came up with...
