I really appreciate the effort that Indianapolis is putting into starting early to disrupt the cycle of poverty! Working on allowing families to gain access to preschool is important for future academic success😃 #gccedu

It was super exciting testing our earthquake buildings today! Our research paid off and our building survived for a record-breaking 3 minutes!

This is—by far—my most favorite bulletin board I have ever created. Thanks to Twitter for the idea!

I've really enjoyed making a kahoot bingo to review our unit on cellular respiration and photosynthesis! The students are so engaged and loving it too! It's always fun to think of new ways to engage the class and review with students😁

As a student teacher it can be very easy to get distracted in just teaching content. It is our responsibility to not only help our students learn, but build them up too!
As educators what strategies do you have to intentionally build up and encourage others? Here’s one idea that one of my mentors shared with me. #LeadershipMinute#FutureReady
Hey PLN! I am working on designing a unit plan for 12th grade anatomy on the muscular system. Does anyone have any cool resources or ideas for this unit?

My professional growth as a teacher never came out of an annual performance review- My professional growth came from working with my colleagues & leaders that took time to show interest in my development through working constructively, collaboratively & consistently alongside me.
Hey PLN! Good morning! I was thinking about flexible seating today. What are some ways that you have successfully implemented it in the classroom? Do you have any tips or tricks you would suggest?

@acoustimac @SFecich That's super cool! As a secondary biology preservice teacher I think that giving students context always helps to increase interest and help open their eyes to a lot of the ethical issues surrounding research. It also helps them learn how past scientists have handled that!
PLN, how would you facilitate communication between parents and teachers? I was thinking about @ClassDojo or @RemindHQ, just to name a few. I just wasn't sure about how to fully apply them at the secondary level.

@MsLeeTeacher @SFecich @cospaces_edu @MergeVR I love how students not only can design their own projects, but also then can collaborate and share what they did! I had been thinking about #AR in terms of using it to help teach concepts in lessons, but this is a really cool way to allow students to express their own ideas!
