🔴 Positively Osceola From Downtown Celebration Annual Independence Day Parade 🇺🇸
The Positively Osceola crew rolled through the parade route as Celebration showed off one seriously clean party for America’s 250th birthday.
Celebration Sanitation Services hit their 20-year mark, and yeah—they straight-up crushed it, keeping the streets spotless like pros who’ve been taking out the trash since day one.
Trash cans got flipped into drum kits, garbage turned groove, and the whole place vibed like a block party that knew how to clean up after itself.
Floats shined, streets sparkled, and the whole town showed love—families, vets, first responders—all bringing that red, white, and woo energy.
It was loud, proud, and clean as ever. Happy 250th, America—and cheers to 20 years of keeping Celebration fresh. 🇺🇸
You need to take back control of your happiness. Quit putting it in someone else’s hands. Make up your mind that no matter what people do, no matter what they say, how they treat you, they’re not going to steal your joy.

Today is the 10th anniversary of the tragic events at Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016.
We remember the 49 lives lost, honor the survivors, and hold the families, friends, and communities affected by this tragedy in our thoughts.
As we look back on this anniversary, we see the strength, resilience, and unity our community has shown through such a difficult time. Let’s keep supporting each other with compassion, respect, and understanding as we honor the memory of those we lost too soon.
The Family Integrative Recovery Systems Therapy (FIRST) program is hosting a resource fair for Veterans and their family members. The event will showcase resources and services available both within the VA and the local community to support Veterans and their families.
The FIRST program will also offer activities for Veterans, their partners, and children. These activities are designed to promote family connection and encourage intentional time together over the summer. The goal is to improve positive family and parenting interactions and help reduce stress and conflict in Veterans’ family lives.
After cycling more than 300 miles over three days, OPD joined agencies from across the country for the Police Unity Tour Ride-In and Ceremony at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial to honor officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The Orlando VA Healthcare System reminds Veterans that extended weekday hours for urgent care triage services are available at the Lake Baldwin VA Clinic.
The clinic offers expanded hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing greater access to care for Veterans who need early-morning or after-work medical attention.
Urgent care services are available for non-life-threatening conditions, including minor cuts, burns, wounds, infections, skin irritations, cold and flu symptoms, and other urgent medical concerns that do not require emergency care.
Today, the Orlando Police Department recognized Denim Day, an international campaign focused on educating the public about sexual assault and challenging misconceptions about the crime.
Denim Day began following a 1990s court case in Italy, where a conviction was overturned based on the argument that a victim’s clothing implied consent. In response, advocates organized a movement encouraging people to wear denim as a visible statement in support of survivors.
Here in Orlando, our Criminal Investigations Division remains dedicated to conducting thorough investigations to seek justice for victims of sexual assault and other violent crimes.
Sheriff Christopher A. Blackmon and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office were honored to attend the School Resource Officer Appreciation Dinner hosted by the Osceola County School District, alongside our law enforcement partners from the St. Cloud Police Department and Kissimmee Police Department, to recognize the dedicated School Resource Officers serving students across Osceola County.
We are especially proud of SRO Deputy Don Devlin, who was named the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer of the Year by the Osceola County School District. His leadership, mentorship, and strong presence at Harmony High School reflect the very best of our agency.
Thank you to all of our SROs for protecting, guiding, and supporting our students every day.
