Shoutout to all AP Lit students taking their exam today! Have fun, write your heart out, and show what you know. You’ve worked so hard this year and we’re rooting for you ☺️👍🏻📝. A big virtual high five goes out to all GHS students in particular... you’ve got this! @MrsHertzGHS
Sending good literary vibes through the air to the students taking the AP Eng Lit and Comp Exam. . . may your analysis yield good bricks to help you build your interpretive houses! Read well; write well; be well!
Moment of beauty during AP Lit. Review when Chief Reader David Miller quoted writer Dawn Powell. He ended by telling students to find the mosaic they can create for this year! This is why I teach lit and read for the AP exam. #aplitchat@Miller_DG@AP_Trevor
Wow! So #grateful for Dr. David Miller, @susangbarber Barber, & Carlos Escobar's #APLitChat. Such great validation of what @MsLairdGHS and I do, and I just LOVE the collaboration that is happening in this time of Remote Learning. #APELConnect@GHS_Geneva

What a great way to kick off Homecoming Week to Paint the Town! Voyager and GTV combined forces to show the collaborative force behind the Communications Department #ghswindows2019
AP English Literature students demonstrated significantly stronger skills of literary analysis this year than in 2018, increasing the % of students scoring 3+ by several points. Kudos to AP teachers for reversing a multi-year decline in literary analysis. Keep up the good work.
