Also sometimes they ask if you still love them by demonstrating misbehavior. It’s a sneaky little test. “I love you no matter what.” (After a few deep breaths because it’s frustrating when they act like jerks!)

This is my petition to bring felt board activities back to early childhood! A big hit in morning meeting, small groups, AND individually. (Feeding the bugs to the frogs counts as imitating play and pretending, right?!)
