New Jersey children, families, and early childhood professionals need the support of our legislators. We’re calling on @GovMurphy @NJSenatePres to increase state child care subsidies. We also need to expand the parameters of who will qualify to receive them. @ACNJforKids @njaeyc

Hearing the testimonies of NJ early childhood center directors. It’s getting emotional. Many centers are going to close. It’s already hard for most centers to make payroll.We cannot ask parents to shoulder the burden of the minimum wage increase.

Increasing the minimum wage is important. Unfortunately, the majority of preschools and child care centers cannot survive the transition without support. Children are not products, their education and care should not be considered a business. @ACNJforKids @njaeyc

@andrewhume I follow Shaun King on multiple platforms. He brings awareness to stories that MSM isn’t covering, offers thoughtful solutions, and has built a big enough network that he has been able to help identify attackers to bring them to justice and works to provide help for victims.

Yesterday, I read a wonderful version of the classic children’s book “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" & it said “Congress, Congress, what do you see? I see child care for all families.”

Yesterday, I reintroduced the Child Care for Working Families Act with my Senate colleagues @SenBobCasey and @maziehirono along with parents and advocates as we laid out our vision for affordable, high-quality #ChildCare4All.
