I follow up with examples of student submissions (names removed) and explain the problems, and explain they didn’t catch the problem because they didn’t know the actual answer. AI is a great TOOL. It is not a replacement for thought.

I give students an example of when AI gave me a bad graph. I told it what to fix, it changed a name w/o changing the actual graph. They laugh. I ask why I knew the result was wrong, they say because I know the answer.
I say: “W/peace & love, you are not smart enough to use AI.”
