@druinok@BearStMichael@Desmos I think the user experience is ok with a bunch of people on but in my experience the teacher side is SUPER laggy after about 60. I use separate codes for each class!
Adapted a @mathequalslove Trig Identity Matchup Activity for Google Slides! (Thanks, Sarah!) Feel free to use for your #precalc and #trig remote classes! #mtbos#iteachmath https://t.co/KFd4IBSoR6
Borrowed @thescamdog Speed Dating Cards to create another Google Slide Matchup Activity. This one is with simplifying radicals! #mtbos#iteachmath#iteachalg2 https://t.co/peXSAk46Fs
@saravdwerf@saravdwerf did this lesson today and a student texted me “just wanted to let you know that this was a really fun assignment”. Thanks!! My kids are old hats at video learning, but they were happy to learn something for fun!
@Desmos (Double gulp) distance. Have an advantage because I teach in a hybrid learning model so kids are at least used to the tech but still working on how to help without being able to redirect in the moment
Loving @Desmos for its ability to collect my students ideas but STRUGGLING with how to respond to wrong answers. Like I know why they got the answer wrong (they explained their thoughts so beautifully) and I snapshotted them but now what...? #mtbos#iteachmath#help
@joelbezaire @Desmos Yeah, thinking tomorrow’s assignment might include a video of me talking through some of my responses but not sure how to engage them. I like the Google Doc idea!
I say this with love, but you want to make sure your "what do you notice?" question isn't just another version of "guess what the teacher is thinking."
@Mrsenglishteac1 @TypeAMathLand@googledrive How do you organize your google folders? I’m always stuck between organizing by year or by topic since I teach classes that overlap!
Jesus woke up from a few days of being dead and instead of laying waste to his killers went to the beach for breakfast with his best friends. That’ll do it to me every time.

If you are responsible for giving teachers feedback, then you absolutely have to check out the presentation and resources from @all4mathed and @BrookeLucioEDU at #NCSM2019. So much more efficient and effective than any way I've ever given feedback. https://t.co/9BDEQJKasE
Are the tasks we are choosing for our students EQUALIZING? Can all students jump in where expertise is not needed? Otherwise, someone perceived to have more expertise will be given the authority. #NCSM19#publicmath@MathICTM Coaster task! What do you see?
