I’m getting irritated by those @BBCNewsnight@itvnews telling us pandemic has “revealed” inequalities. Theyve not been hidden just ignored by politicians, media, more advantaged public. CV19 may make it harder but without public pressure for change they’ll be ignored again soon
A personal opinion : I hate being described as BAME or “a BAME person”. It is an OK acronym for speed and ease in writing, but isn’t universally understood and is weird in conversation. I still think it is better to refer to being from “ethnic minorities” or specific identities.
