@nancytsidley@StephanieSidley No media is going to publish pictures of their children...won't happen, unless authorised pictures.
So if she's thinking she'll be papped with children it won't be UK media doing it.
@Furiosa24 This GOV needs to get a move on with its inquiry. Get everything out in the open once and for all, the survivors need to be heard properly.
Remember how proud Burnham was to support the Hillsborough Inquiry. Let’s see if he moves as quickly on this issue if he ever becomes PM
@vbspurs It is and with images now being kept on devices, people don't realise what they will eventually lose.
There's nothing better than a box of memories. ❤️
I've a photograph of the then Prince of Wales, Edward, meeting my husband’s grt-grandfather after the WWI. I need to find it!!
@QDSMom@Furiosa24 The last thing survivors need is for the Crown to comment on an issue while live cases are still being handled by Crown authorities. That could create concerns about political interference, impartiality or the proper course of justice and the perpetrators win again.
@QDSMom@Furiosa24 But that still doesn’t deliver justice. Symbolic outrage is not the same as justice. We don’t even have the findings of a judge-led inquiry yet, so how can we know who should be held accountable? We want the right people punished!
@Furiosa24 I’ve just been catching up.
Everyone of sound mind wants justice, but some seem to think their opinions outweigh centuries of constitutional history they haven’t even taken the time to understand.
@LairdOfThManor Because Rupert Lowe’s report was not really a formal inquiry but rather a private, funded investigation, it was not a statutory public inquiry. Therefore, unless you are here or follow certain YouTube channels, you likely wouldn’t know about it.
@Knesix Because grooming gangs involve specific crimes, live cases, investigations & institutional failures. Royals do speak & support victims and child protection through charities, just as William speaks on homelessness through compassion, prevention & support. Not blame.
@Elsan271@unreMARKLEble I know, but my point is, it is obvious that we are moving away from some of formality we saw with QEII.
I think the only male family member who properly bows his head these days, is Tim Lawrence.
@fourseen12@unreMARKLEble The gesture and intention is the same...but you're right, it’s disappointing there wasn’t a full Shakespearean bow with a sweeping arm movement.
@fourseen12@unreMARKLEble He does and there has been times he hasn't, it’s not always obvious. Recently, at the Commonwealth Service, as Charles approached him, he gave a slight nod before walking towards him to greet him with a kiss.
