@_kaydeejnr@Replay_remix@Yiedie01 The meat is slaughtered for their festival of sacrifice. It’s a sacrifice to Allah as a form of thanksgiving. One pastor explained into details. But honestly I think it’s all based on personal beliefs and preferences.
“I’ll accept the will of Allah but I’ll not attend the wedding,…and…I won’t be friend with my co wife.”
That simply means you did not truly accept the will of Allah. You are only fooling yourself.
But to be clear:
I’m not saying you must attend the wedding. I’m not saying you must be friends with any co wife. I’m not saying you must do anything. I’m only showing what your actions truly deeply mean.
I’m only saying that:
Refusal to attend the wedding and refusal to be friends with your co wife means a clear refusal to truly accept the will of Allah, and your behaviour is evidence that you know and truly don’t accept that this particular will of Allah is good for you. And that’s just the simple truth. But it’s okay to live in denial and delusion.
@Hassan_0408@IdrisAOni1 I will turn it down. I intend to marry for love, not transactional marriage where I just want a man to provide. I can’t give all my love to a man who gives attention to other women. I can be in a polygamous marriage for material reasons but not love.
