You were told Black men were the threat.

You were told they were the face of violence, of chaos, of danger in the home.

But the data laughs. Loudly. Bitterly.
Because here’s what the cold numbers say between the lines:

🩸 Black men have made the steepest, most dramatic drop in intimate partner violence of ANY group.

Not white men.
Not white women.
Not even Black women.

BLACK MEN

🎭 Let’s Paint the Scene:
1976:

Black male intimate murder rates? 19x higher than white men.
Black women? 7x higher than white women.

Everyone is bleeding.
Everyone’s hurting.
And the system?

It loves it that way.

1996:

Black men slashed their rates by over 8x.
Black women? Cut by over 3x.
White folks? Still chillin’—barely moved the needle

You know what that means?

While they pointed fingers and spun feminist narratives of savage patriarchy aimed squarely at Black men…

Black men were doing the work.
Quietly. Painfully. Without applause.

No grants.
No empowerment hashtags.
No Oprah segments.
Just graves. Regret. And a vow not to pass on the trauma.

📉 What the Chart Really Says:

1. Black men changed.
They did the healing. They dropped the blade.
But no one changed the story.

2. The system needs the violent Black male trope.
Not because it’s true—but because it’s useful.
Useful to justify surveillance. Prisons. Policy.
Even useful to fuel a certain brand of feminism.

3. White male violence stayed mostly flat—but they’re still not the focus of fear in intimate partner violence conversations.
Why? Because that doesn’t fit the narrative of the “gentle, competent white man” vs “dangerous, impulsive Black brute.”

🤡 So What Does This Mean for the Feminist Narrative?

If feminism—real feminism—was about truth and liberation for everyone,
then this chart would be a headline.
Not a footnote.

But it hurts the narrative, doesn’t it?

Because it says the group most vilified—Black men—have been doing the most work.

While the most privileged—white men—barely moved.
And yet they’re still the presumed standard of safety.

🕯 Final Thought:
The revolution isn’t stalled because people don’t want to change.
It’s stalled because power can’t profit off your healing.

So they bury the graphs.
Ignore the numbers.

Tell the same old bedtime stories...
about monsters in hoodies and saviors in suits.
But the Rabbit’s here now.
In diving gear.
With charts soaked in the blood of truth.
And we’re not letting anyone off the hook.

Our issues are wrapped up in social theories about gender, class, and patriarchy while America imperialism, and what began as counter intelligence operations decimate any type of institutional Black male agency. Academia could care less about the data until they see Black males submit to their social theories. Talking about “comes off” it comes off like the professor responding to this post wants to socially engineer Black Males on the “correct way” to talk about and respond to our abuses. How do feminists get around to that?

Than Rapist who go free like this guy and Jesse Butler who choked a girl on conscious while raping her almost killing her. I say all that to say. Humans do bad, horrible things no matter what race, religion, or nationality. Yet Americans are always fighting against each other.
