Just did a @zoom_us video call w/ my students! They shared 1 fun thing they’ve done since our e-learning days began 7 days ago. We ended by reading @susanverde’s book “I Am Peace” w/ art by @peterhreynolds- an amazing reminder to focus our emotions/thoughts on the here & now.

Yesterday, we reviewed fractions “Toy Story” style!! Students had to memory match fractional amounts & solve fractions w/ unlike denom. to figure out how to color Mr. Potato Head! Students did so well and raced to build Mr. Potato Head for a whole class reward!! #rockyourschool

I don’t think I planned very well... 😅 Yesterday, I had 4 @breakoutEDU boxes w/ rotations where I saw 4 different groups of 5th/6th graders! Oops!! It was a MAD DASH to reset the games. 😂 These @OrioleTweets students LOVED ❤️ it- all that matters!!
