…patience, movement, and a listening ear.I grew up with three sisters - a household of girls. I have three sons and my only daughter is away at college. The boy energy is heavy here, especially on weekends when my husband is home, and teenage friends fill most couches and chairs
I do not believe a person needs hundreds of friends to lead to happiness. It does not take that many to make a heart feel loved and appreciated. Instead, a few special people to remind us that we are intelligent, creative, and worthy is enough. #Breathofipseity#msstephanie
I have always dreamed of traveling the world for education. After working on this project for a brilliantly Innovative class, I think helping students connect globally would be pretty amazing. Thank you @jackiegerstein and @sctoy21#innovative

Thank you, @sctoy21 and @spencerideas for this reminder. As I finish up another quarter toward my doctorate, I needed the reminder that I am "snailing it." Even if my children are all grown and moved out when I become Dr. Stephanie, it will be worth it!

@jackiegerstein Yes! Nothing is learned in isolation. One of the habits of schools is to separate learning into subjects when so much of the day should be intertwined and fluid. How do we help change that? I wonder if the school day will ever flow and ebb rather than stop with every bell.
@justinwmcmillan@SteeleThoughts@ToddWhitaker Absolutely! The teachers are the deliverers of that mission. When I think about the perfect educational environment, it is when everyone shares the pride in that mission.
"American education will never realize its potential as an engine of opportunity and economic growth until a WRITING REVOLUTION puts language and communication in their proper place in the classroom" (National Commission on Writing, 2003)
Who's prepared for the revolution!?
@DanielPink Love this - when contentment with life/education is obtained, the happiness with life follows. Today's character education objective seems backward in this regard.
Our learners are heading back to the center this week and we are giving a nod to @gcouros and @ewanmcintosh. Encouraging our students to be "problem finders" to later be problem solvers. Here's to a successful 2023-2024 school year!
