Proud of a student today who was willing to take a picture of a successful moment in class. His teammates did not want a picture - so he said he respects that and didn’t want to pressure anyone. Nice to see a student aware of those around him and really listening to their wishes.
Today we did another round of breakout boxes at GLSS. Great fun as we put the thinking caps on to solve the puzzles. Thanks for the warm welcome, we enjoyed the connections we could make today.
This year, I’ll be seeing some students graduating from high school that I met when they were in grade 5. Wow. What a lucky job I’ve had to know students this long and see all the wonderful accomplishments they have achieved.
The experts at @CMANXT share some #advice on bulking up your "thin" #resumé! As a #student, your CV may be scant for now, but there's plenty you can do to make your experiences seem more appealing.

Another day of fantastic student visits. This week has been so uplifting! It’s so wonderful to have connections with students even though I’m not a permanent staff member in their building. Educators as a whole seem able to form meaningful connections with hundreds of students.
Have I mentioned what an integral role resource teachers have when we arrive to schools? They are always busy but find a way to make us feel welcomed in their building and also help organize and gather our students. Kudos to all you hard working RT’s that help staff like me.
Today was filled with excitement and laughs. We met with students to remember all the fun things we did last year and preparing for what more we can achieve this year. Thanks for the welcome JMSS and CKSS.
Starting up this year with a new partner. I’m fortunate to have been paired again with someone with lots of experience and ideas / connections to expand and grow our portfolio.
Hope everyone is settling into the new school year.

Today was my last day working with my partner. We had a great year together-navigating so many new experiences&having some fun success stories. Both of us working a a new job, never having a partner before, just clicked. She is moving on to a position which she will totally rock!
Wonderful PD day planned for secondary staff today at WDSS. Lots of great learning sessions, door prizes, lunch and snacks, and the chance to see so many people both from your own school and beyond. Thanks for all the hard work program dept and the invitation @mcbainbr
