A gorgeous afternoon for @NorthGrandHS Garden club. We harvested tomatoes and chilies galore! Our lovely squash, tomatillos, and radishes are thriving, and we found surprise huitlacoche on our corn!

The @NorthGrandHS community has been a tremendous support on our garden venture. Parents and community members have donated time, a peach tree, and seeds. Our Saturday @CAPEChicago community garden club is thriving.

Carl the Caterpillar is now Carl the Chrysalis! We also have a new @NorthGrandHS Garden Club buddy - Kenny the Cabbage Moth (not really a friend of the garden), but students rule Garden Club, so… we’re keeping him.
