Absolutely ๐ฏ! Being timely with assignments allows timely feedback to the student. Understanding future topics (at least in science, math, languages, and etc.) depends on understanding preceding material.
@heymrsbond Hereโs the issue for upper grade science - what we do these three weeks is the basis for what we do the next three weeks. If a kid doesnโt put in the practice now, IDs misunderstandings now, masters it now? Theyโre sunk for the rest of the year. 1/2
Happy Nowruz to family, friends, colleagues and students who celebrate this wonderful day. May you have a calm day, and an amazing year ahead. ๐๐โค๏ธ#NewYear#Nowruz
@ReporterDawn@vcstar@ReporterDawn Youโre showing your girls that although change is scary, it makes us grow. I saw one of them at work on Friday. Asked her coworker to say hi from me, as she was busy w a customer & I had 4 teens with me who would have been mortified if I showed any more excitement๐คฃ
@NicholasFerroni Work experience in science has helped me be a better teacher. However, knowing your content is different than knowing how to teach it. It takes so much practice & patience! They would need training & supervision. You canโt just put a warm body in a class and call them teacher!
We used the distance/time & velocity/time simulation in 8th grade physics today. Students were a little frustrated when 1st learning to move the caterpillar. Ultimately they got the hang of it and better understand how to interpret motion graphs. Thank you @Hookean1 ๐๐ผ
When teaching about distance-time graphs and velocity-time graphs, this simulation might be useful, for students to play with. Quite addictive! They need to replicate each graph by moving the caterpillar ๐https://t.co/38zm6e5Yr8
Thank you @NPProwler! My son came home and was excited about the coverage of #Iran in his schoolโs newspaper. Thank you ๐
