I had a great time volunteering with @BeccaWhitnall and @KyleBJorrey at the News & Brews booth at the Thousand Oaks Chili Cook Off today.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Rotary and Play Conejo!

Have a wheelchair you're not using? Donate it to someone in need. The disability ministry Joni and Friends is hosting a wheelchair donation event March 22 from 10am – 2pm at Lighthouse Church in Newbury Park. The gift of mobility changes lives.

Love this going on this week at Lighthouse Church in Newbury Park! If you have a wheelchair that is not being used, Joni and Friends could use it to bless someone! https://t.co/R7pi4KTPFy
Brett Taylor. Rest in peace brother.
We spent over 50 years as friends. You always make me smile. You are life, you are joy.
I love you, and you are always with me and the whole community. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
We mourn in the passing of our brother, Brett Taylor. Brett gave his time volunteering to the department for 48 years. We will miss you.
Flags at Fire Headquarters will be lowered to half-staff in remembrance.
To know Brett is to love Brett. It is still so hard to process the news today. I will miss his important close door meetings, side hugs, & when he would say “I love you boss”. He is truly someone that has made me a better person & allowed me to see the great in this world! 💔
I don’t know anyone with greater intentions. No matter how you were in contact with him, all he wanted to do was help, and be a part of what you were doing. Everyday he reminded me we NEED to get him his ring. After all, I’m so glad you got it Brett. Rest easy 😢
This one is hitting hard in the newsroom, but as folks call in to make sure we've heard about Brett's passing, everyone's got such sweet things to say and we get to share a smile thinking about him.
I had the honor of joining uniformed first responders as they saluted their beloved longtime colleague Brett Taylor as his body was removed from his home today. Brett was the most special special needs adult I’ve ever known. He was his own kind of hometown hero. RIP friend. 💔
@KyleBJorrey@ReporterDawn@Michael_Coons As a Ventura County/Conejo Valley local, and frequent competitor @VenturaRaceway, Brett’s presence has been a constant for most of my life. The T.O. and SoCal racing scene lost a beacon of joy and positivity today. We’re all so lucky to have known Brudda Brett!
