I loved my elementary school so much as a student and I love it even more as a teacher. I am so blessed to be able to call this place home and these people Ohana through the years. 💛🧡🐾
Celebrating 50 years of @KaimiloaES ! Today, we opened up a time capsule that was closed 25 years ago. And we shared the moment with some very special guests 🥰
Share with me a bright spot that you had today! I’m making it a habit to think of at least one positive thing that happened during the school day and asking a colleague to share with me one of their bright spots.
This stems from a rough week. Which led me to asking @kmakimoto1 to tell me something positive that happened to her. It was soooo uplifting to hear and be reminded of all the good things that occur (things I overlook or not notice). It honestly made my week!
Last night, I was messaging two friends from elementary and I thought, “wow, I really am teacher at our elementary school..who would’ve thought?” #LivingADream
@EwaSchoolHI@K10gan4Ewa Happy Retirement Mrs. Tengan!! I absolutely loved learning math from you, seeing you through the years, and having been able to witness your passion for teaching! Wishing you the absolute best! 💛
What a way to end 2nd Quarter! I love my school and I love being able to see students with their families as they drove thru our Winter Reading Wonderland!!!
A culmination of our 12 days of reading was our Winter Reading Wonderland Drive-Thru. 📚☃️🎄So much fun! Can you guess some of these stories? 🥰💕 @KaimiloaES#808educate
One of my favorite back to school traditions at @KaimiloaES is when Admin and Leadership cooks the Ohana breakfast. Despite the changes, they found a way to still show their love and appreciation by buying us bento breakfasts. #ilovemyschool
It was an awesome 3 day of @PBLWorks training by an great online facilitator @MyTLee3! We were put into the pit as we grappled with ideas & planned our #PBL projects for the year. Can’t wait to continue to share our journey with you!
