Educators! As a future educator I hear constantly about “burnout” and how I should have a backup plan after I decide I’ve had enough of teaching. How have you avoided burnout and taken care of yourself in our profession? @irvspanish#burnout#edu#education
@patrickjwiggin@Mr_Moose_23@irvspanish Thank you so much for the insight. This is definitely something that I am going to focus on as I begin my teaching career!
I created my first educational podcast today! I'm curious if any educators or pre-service teachers have podcast they consistently listen to that help guide them in the crazy world of teaching?

@Mr_Moose_23@irvspanish Great video! This is exactly right, all they need is to be treated like a regular human being who is loved, respected, and treated equally.
#IM422 A3: My go-to strategy is to use explicit instruction and have a set schedule. This is helpful for the students to know what is going on and how their day is laid out. It is particularly necessary to do these things with SPED students as they need this type of structure.
#IM422 A2: As a student, I enjoy interactive activities because I am a visual learner. I appreciated when teachers used new technology integration as it allowed us to learn in a variety of ways.
#IM422 A1: Hello! I'm Emilie Planert a sophomore Special Education major at St. Cloud State University. I am also on the volleyball team here at SCSU and also enjoy reading, volunteering, and traveling. I am from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
