What we say in front of kids — even offhandedly — can impact them profoundly. For better and for worse. Here’s a phrase I try to encourage others to never say, especially in front of kids. For many kids, drawing is a more natural form of expression and communication. 1/2

5th Grade Farewell: 5th grade families, join us on Tuesday, May 19 at 2-3pm to parade through Castlio. Feel free to decorate your car and make signs as we cheer you on to middle school! Remember to stay in your cars but honk, wave, scream and shout! You deserve this moment!

Congrats to the FHSD student scientist who earned awards at the March 7 Mo. Tri- County Regional Science and Engineering Fair! Bryan Middle 6th grader Vinay Konduru received first place in Applied Science Consumer. Castlio 2nd grader Riva Mehta placed second in Physical Science.
