If we're all going to have an always-on assistant, they’ll need more seamless ways to pay. This is the dream, especially for me. I started with Fancy Hands in 2010 and have used nearly every new assistant product since (and loved all of them). But the payments experience has been mid-to-crappy until very recently (!).
At Pool we’ve been hard at work on a financial account* that supports multiple members, permissions and rules for a specific purpose (house funds, childcare, grocery budget, bands, actual human assistants, etc.) And we’ve found that collaboration with humans is eerily similar to collaboration with agents. In both cases you need guardrails, rules, permissions, and more. We want to make Pool the most agent-friendly account out there.
A bounded space specifically for your assistants keeps the agent out of your primary accounts/credit cards while still letting you transact seamlessly. The Pool debit card** can already hook into any provider that accepts Visa (like @Link). We want to make a using @ourpools + any agent seamless and smooth. If you’re working on agents + payments we’d love to chat!
We’ve written about why we’re interested in agent-friendly accounts and how we’re thinking about it. This will be the first of several on this topic:

More to come.
* Pool is a financial technology company, not a bank. All banking services provided by First Internet Bank, Member FDIC.
** The Pool Visa® Debit Card is issued by First Internet Bank, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.
Probably goes without saying but @bot made this website for me + does the daily scans.
I expect the team will launch an official version - this is just a stopgap since I've seen folks asking for inspiration 😊

Interfaces that are generated, not coded.
Excited to finally share Solaris. Video is the universal interface. Eventually, all UI will be chat and gestures in, chat and video out.
Solaris opens new ways to build websites, apps and other interfaces. And most importantly, it gives new ways to train agents in much more dynamic environments.
