After a brief break, we return with renewed determination to continue doing what we have been doing for the people of Kaduna North.

It is with great joy that I announce the continuation of our empowerment program. In line with the agenda of Renewed Hope Agenda Mr. President @officialABAT/@officialSKSM in Nigeria and Governor @ubasanius in Kaduna State, we will empower 1,000 small businesses across Kaduna North. Beneficiaries will receive and have installed solar power kits to help reduce energy costs and support the transition to renewable energy. We will also distribute energy saving stoves and pasta making machines to selected small business owners to improve productivity and strengthen their businesses.

Our goal remains to promote self reliance, support entrepreneurship, and improve livelihoods across our communities. Details regarding the date, venue, and all necessary process will be communicated soon.

May Allah SWT bless this initiative, ease our affairs, clear our paths, and grant us success in our efforts to give back to the people. Ameen.

Happening now: Governor Uba Sani, Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, Speaker Yusuf Liman, and other Kaduna State officials are at Umar Musa ‘Yar'adua Hall to officially flag off the Kaduna Ultra-Poor Graduation Program. The program is designed to empower 2,400 rural women and youth with N300,000 each as start-up capital to support their businesses.

I am profoundly honoured to receive the “Award of Recognition for Championing Primary Healthcare Services and Improving Access to Quality Health for All” at the National Health Media Dialogue, themed “Advocacy Solutions to Improve PHC Delivery and Health Outcomes in Kaduna, Lagos, and Kano.”

This recognition is not mine alone; it is a tribute to the unwavering commitment and resilience of the Kaduna State health family: our dedicated healthcare professionals, administrators, and partners whose collective effort continues to strengthen and transform our health system.

At this distinguished forum of media leaders, health experts, policymakers, and development partners, Kaduna State’s bold and sustained health-sector reforms were rightfully acknowledged. Our administration has placed Primary Health Care (PHC) at the very heart of our human capital development agenda, determined to make quality healthcare accessible, affordable, and equitable for every citizen; regardless of geography, gender, or social status.

Through the “One Functional PHC per Ward” initiative, we have revitalized and equipped 255 Primary Health Centres across all 23 Local Government Areas, each upgraded to Level-2 national standard. We established 23 PHC Centres of Excellence, enhanced referral systems, and achieved 100 percent availability of 975 essential medicines across public facilities.

To deepen service delivery, we recruited 1,800 new health workers, deployed 4,000 Community Health Influencers and Promoters (CHIPS), implemented the 2024 CONMESS and CONHESS salary structures, and first to fully disburse the Medical Residency Training Fund. We expanded health insurance coverage under KADCHMA, launched KADSEMSAS, established the Kaduna State Centre for Disease Control (KADCDC) amongst many others.

Together, we shall continue to build a Kaduna State; and indeed a Nigeria, where access to quality healthcare is not a privilege, but a lived and enduring reality for all.

I was delighted to return to Lere Local Government, after commissioning the remodeled and fully equipped General Hospital in Saminaka, this time to flag off the Kayarda–Tasha–Masakawa–Dan Alhaji Road project. This asphaltic road construction is a key component of our Rural Transformation Agenda, designed to modernize infrastructure, expand local economies, and narrow the urban–rural divide. As Nigeria’s leading maize-producing hub and a major contributor of soybeans, tomatoes, beans, and sugarcane, Lere stands to benefit immensely from improved connectivity that will boost livelihoods and strengthen our economy.

This groundbreaking continues our momentum of linking farming communities, opening economic corridors, creating jobs, and securing prosperity. I also assured the people that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the urgent reconstruction of the Pambegua–Saminaka–Jos Road, while the Saminaka–Kano road is under active consideration due to its strategic importance for trade and integration.

The occasion also provided an opportunity to welcome top officials of the PDP in Lere Local Government who decamped to our dear party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). Their decision reflects confidence in our inclusive, people-centered governance. We gladly received them and reaffirmed our commitment to fairness, equity, and service to all, regardless of political affiliation or background.

I sincerely appreciate the various stakeholders who commended our interventions in Lere and across Kaduna State. Their pledges of unwavering support further strengthen our resolve to deliver on our mandate. Together, we will ensure these projects advance sustainable growth, enhance prosperity, and improve the quality of life of our people.

Today, we joined the Rt. Honourable Speaker Yusuf Liman, Malam Balarabe Abbas, the Minister of Environment, alongside federal and state government officials and other APC stakeholders from Zone One, for the inauguration of the Zaria Kewaye By-Election Planning Committee. We are optimistic about delivering Honourable Isah Haruna Ilhamo as the representative of the Kaduna State House of Assembly for Zaria Kewaye in the upcoming by-election scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2025.

The show of support from party members and supporters demonstrates the wide acceptance and strength of our party in Zaria.

GOVERNOR UBA SANI APPOINTS SANI RABIU BAKO AS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, KADUNA STATE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY COMMISSION

In a significant move to deepen transparency and accountability in governance, Governor Uba Sani has appointed Alhaji Sani Rabiu Bako as the Executive Chairman, Kaduna State Fiscal Responsibility Commission.

The Governor expects Alhaji Sani Rabiu Bako to reposition the Commission to effectively discharge its mandate of promoting prudent public expenditure and financial management and discipline, with a view to ensuring long - term macroeconomic stability in Kaduna State.

Alhaji Sani Rabiu Bako is a leading Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in Project and Facility Management. A trained and certified Public - Private Partnership (PPP) Professional, he was, before the appointment as Chairman, Kaduna State Fiscal Responsibility Commission, the Principal Partner, Rie Services & Project Ltd. From 2018 to 2022, he was the Executive Director, Treasures Suites and Conferences.He held the position of Senior Resident Quantity Surveyor, Environment Development Consultants from 2005 to 2008.

Alhaji Sani Rabiu Bako has held many leadership positions, including; Academic Adviser, College of Environmental Studies, Kaduna State Polytechnic Students Association (2002 -2004), President, National Association of Quantity Surveying Students (2002 - 2004), and Chairman, Kaduna Doka Development Association (2021 till date).

Alhaji Sani Rabiu Bako holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Management, a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Quantity Surveying, and Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Quantity Surveying. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Construction Management.

While congratulating Alhaji Sani Rabiu Bako on his well deserved appointment, Governor Uba Sani wished him God's guidance and protection.

In the name of Allah SWT, the most Compassionate, the most Merciful. I am pleased to announce the completion of Hajiya Safiya Na’Allah Scholarship for students of the Airforce Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kawo, Kaduna State. The ad hoc team did a superb job under the Chairmanship of @Sir_Arabz. I will be attaching the list of 69 beneficiaries including the detailed report. This is the eighth institution of we have worked with to dole out scholarships to students in need. As a special request by the members of the ad hoc committee, we will also be settling the hostel fees of five students in the school that are orphans. I will also be releasing a token for all the members of the committee for a job well done. With the exception of @BashirElRufai who was helpful but only from a distance. Thank you.
