Is it sheer audacity, or do they act with such recklessness because they know the government will turn a blind eye? How can they attack at will unless they are backed by forces so high and powerful? It’s worth asking who is empowering this relentless aggression, and why isn’t the central government stepping in to protect the Kukizo tribal community?

The images of CRPF personnel dragging the bodies of slain Kuki village volunteers who valiantly defended their homes in Jiribam are deeply disturbing and utterly reprehensible. Such actions are a gross violation of human dignity and a stark betrayal of the principles upon which our security forces are founded.

It is imperative that these heinous acts be thoroughly investigated, and those responsible be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. The discipline and standards of our Central forces are meant to uphold human rights and protect the lives of all citizens, not to desecrate the fallen. Such vile actions have no place in a civilized society and must be condemned unequivocally.
