[Our Past Initiative @Our_Past_In]

Last Saturday , we joined the community of Bugesera District, Musenyi Sector, to officially begin the renovation of a house for one of our beneficiaries.

Supported by @QTSoftwareltd, @RSwitch, and Friends of Our Past, this activity was made even more special by the participation of the local community, who once again reminded us that meaningful change happens when people come together.

We were also honored to learn more about our country's history through the testimony of a genocide survivor from the community, a powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance, resilience, and unity.

Today, the Rwanda Space Agency, in collaboration with @LODARwanda, @AFD_France, and key stakeholders, concluded a three-day workshop dedicated to the validation and closure of the feasibility study for a project leveraging data in particular satellite data to enhance climate resilience and adaptation in Rwanda’s districts.

The project aims to use geospatial data at the district level to support disaster management, environmental monitoring, and climate resilience efforts.

Today marked the start of our 2026 projects, beginning with the renovation of a home for Solange Uwase in Ndera, Gasabo District.

Over the next 3-4 weeks, this space will be transformed into a safe and dignified home.

To everyone who showed up and showed out, you reminded us what true community looks like. Thank you for the energy, the love, and the commitment.

The 3-day training on International Space Law, Policy, and Governance has been concluded today.

The programme covered key areas including international space law treaties, licensing and authorization, registration of space objects, liability and insurance, enforcement mechanisms, and space governance.

The Rwanda Space Agency extends its sincere appreciation to the instructors and participants for their active engagement and commitment to strengthening the space legal and regulatory capacity.
