When oil price skyrocketed to $110 per barrel; Tinubu increased the cost of PMS from N820 to N1,350.
Today, oil price has reduced drastically to $71 per barrel and Tinubu still left PMS at N1,350.
When it's time to increase cost of living, Tinubu would remember market forces.
But when it's time to reduce it, Tinubu would roll eyes.
Cooking gas has gone from being a basic household necessity to an increasingly burdensome expense for many Nigerians.
Refilling a 12.5kg cylinder now costs ₦21,900. This makes no sense.
Few years ago, the same cylinder cost as little as ₦800.
We can’t continue like this.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian:
If we did not have our missiles, which are for our self-defense, Israel and America would have plowed through Iran the way Gaza was plowed through, and they would have shown no mercy to the old or the young.
They speak of human rights. It is a great lie.
If we could not defend ourselves, they certainly would not have shown mercy to our country and would have destroyed our power.
Therefore, we will never, under any circumstances, negotiate with anyone over our defensive capabilities.
There is no reason Nigerians should still be buying fuel at over N1,200 per litre when the war has come to an end
This wasn’t the speed they used when increasing fuel prices at the start of the war.
It is shameful and disgraceful for an oil producing nation
Crude oil is currently trading between $73 and $79 per barrel. The same price range at which we were buying PMS at just N900 per litre.
Can anyone explain why we are still paying N1,360 per litre for fuel?
If you are quick to raise prices whenever the market goes up, you should not hesitate to reduce them when it comes down.

It takes a commissioned officer in the Nigerian Army a minimum of 25 to 30 years of active, uninterrupted service to reach the rank of Major General. 30+ active years of service to his country, but look at how the system neglected him in those hard times.
This is someone that dedicated his whole life in service to Nigeria, who contributed more than those currently in Government, whose only contribution is looting our resources and buying their ways to power.
This is really heartbreaking 💔
