I was a clothing designer first.

To all clothing designers reading this:

I'm sorry. You deserve so, so, so much better than this

The amount of skill, patience, and dedication you have is insane. You are a pioneer of character customization and UGC on Roblox

You weren't sent a special invite to a program with a limited number of people when you began your designing journey. Instead, you started in an extremely saturated and competitive market riddled with issues. It was already an unforgiving landscape from the start: botting, DMCA abuse, and so much more

And yet, you still managed to make a name for yourself

I was shocked by how many shortcuts and tools I had when I moved to 3D, and today I'm shocked by the amount of tools, analytics, and support I have as a game developer

Personally, I've done all kinds of art for years now, and nothing comes close to sitting for 12–14 hours doing linework, coloring, shading, and everything else that goes into clothing design

Yet instead of making changes that would give you better tools, more support, and stronger protections...

......they cut your income by more than half and significantly increase the fees, What? all while the market is still dealing with many of the same issues we've known about for more than a decade?????????????????????????????

I genuinely cannot put into words how fucked this is

And despite being a game developer now, I still cannot, for the life of me, ever comprehend why the FUCK Roblox gives games 40% and gives the artists 30%

In Veilbound, players can explore many randomly generated dungeons, each with unique rooms and encounters (rare ones too). You can also end up in another party's dungeon, and whatever you do from that point onwards is up to you...

Here's a showcase of Veilbound combat and also the Aura mechanic in action. Players that are able to manipulate their aura skillfully have a much higher skill ceiling than the average player that goes by "block parry dodge" #Veilbound #Roblox
