@SnakesAndBones So I guess I haven't had an opportunity to change my mind, perhaps others who also did not enjoy their last experience also haven't wanted to return since?
@SnakesAndBones The last time I went to Bristol Zoo, circa 2005-6, I felt really distressed by seeing the big cats pacing in a repeated pattern in cages that were the size of half a box room, with nowhere to hide. Haven't been back (& they moved) so have nothing newer to compare to.
@HetanShah@MatthewPope@HistoricEngland I would be interested in the details of how conservation officers βhave proved a significant obstacle to development of green skills and businessesβ and how they define and quantify that.
@jrdollery @natlibscotmaps I can't believe my wish came true! I have already been playing with the 3D-ification @natlibscotmaps this morning. The Welsh one looks like it will have more functions and layers though, can't wait.
@jrdollery @Esri @RCAHMWales @RC_Survey @RC_Archive @RC_EnwauLleoedd@natlibscotmaps@MappingtheMarch @profhelenfulton @latemedievalist @matt_lampitt @BristolUni I love this so much, its one of those time consuming tasks which would be invaluable to just have to hand when doing desk-based research.
@manda_forster Interesting thread to revisit, 5 years on and in light of another (imminent) CIfA EGM. Thank you from the future for posting your thoughts.
@rezaafsharr Iβm in love! I love everything about this, the colours, the height, the bits outside, all the stories it suggests are happening. Simply splendid piece of art. β₯οΈ
@MtnRangerDave @SnakesAndBones I agree so much. One more thing to add - they have *long* lives. Prepare to look after them for well over a decade, maybe two.
@fakehistoryhunt Yes James Wright/Triskele did a lecture on this. Iβm not sure if he has a blog post somewhere, but he has a book coming out soon. The short of it was - itβs not swords.
