£100m for Sandro Tonali is an extraordinary overpay. Tottenham are happy to be rinsed in the market & give inflated wages because of the position they're in.
That's not ambition, don't confuse the two because they're throwing money around. It's two entirely different things - that's being in your Ed Woodward era.
Manchester United walked away from Tonali at the beginning of the summer because of the asking price & wages & clearly they were right to do it.
Don't forget, this is a Brighton team with a lot to play for seeing as they started the day with a chance of qualifying for the CL. The Seagulls have also beaten Utd in 6 of their last 8 PL games and knocked the Reds out of the FA Cup in Jan #mufc
NIAMH UI BHRIAIN: I can’t be alone in wondering how the hell did we spent €27 Billion on health in 2025 yet still failed to cover the cost of surgery for this little girl. It is almost beyond belief.

A mother of a seven-year-old girl, who is going to the United States for scoliosis surgery, has said she was "extremely worried" and had "nowhere to turn" due to the difficulty of getting treatment in Ireland https://t.co/btfP1ZmwMo
This is my beautiful little sister, she has received no help off the Irish government so my family is forced to go abroad to get her the surgery she requires. Please share or donate if you can🙏

We had to travel to America to get her hips and leg surgery done . She was 7 before she could sit . Left on a wait list for 4 years here in Ireland
No one should have to endure this .
It isn't a hot take. I genuinely can't think of a midfielder more complete than Bruno Fernandes right now. He’s the best midfielder in the world. Over the past five years, nobody has matched what he’s done for both club and country - nobody has even come close.
He starts for any team. I love the narrative shift around him in 2025, he’s earned it all. He has carried Manchester United through the chaos surrounding him, that's undoubtedly held him back from receiving the love, appreciation & respect he deserves.
That shouldn’t stop anyone recognising what he is - a club legend, one of the greatest to grace Old Trafford & Premier League in many years. Your view on him is a litmus test how much you really understand football. The numbers back it up & speak for themselves.
