Sources have relayed that Gerwel could still re-sign with @MFHockeyClub for the Fall. They are pleased with his play but wanted to give the player options to seek out a better deal. Classy move.

We have granted leave to Gerwel to seek a new contract with a European club. He will be excused from our remaining regular season games. #FarmOn

At a team gathering @RacecarRacecar0 brought along his kids to raise the spirits of his teammates while he's injured. Sources report the kids were particularly in awe of @MFHockeyClub superstars Marrone, Meyers, & @thelildudey who all have a larger than life presence.

With the locker room missing Artayet, Jones, Gerwel, & Meyers, morale is low for @MFHockeyClub. Sources say an announcement is likely happening soon to keep spirits up.

The Muffin Farmers announce today that defenseman Gerwel and forward Jones will be taking temporary leave of absence from the team for personal reasons.

Additionally, defenseman Artayet and forward Meyers are placed on season-ending injured reserve, retroactive to May 19th.

3/10 vs. Ice Cox at 10:20 PM
3/15 vs. Puckaholics at 10:00 PM
3/16 vs. Mudcats at 9:00 PM

Playoffs start Saturday, March 21st.

There is a salacious rumor reported by @SullyHockey that Seth Krenzel from Ice Cox has been reported missing after not showing up for practice. Krenzel notably slashed Sivek in the last 30 seconds of last week's game.

We have not confirmed this report.

While a slow start isn't new to @MFHockeyClub there are real signs of panic this time. Splitting up @TheMorrellJr & Trombetta for next seems like a real possibility. Expect Panucci back on D after a one game return to forward.
