5.56 SBR barrel length comparison
In 2017, Eagle_19er on ARFCOM chronographed 41 different .223 and 5.56 loads out of a variety of SBR barrel lengths, a fantastically helpful test.
Here is a handy 'at a glance' chart of the 3 most military relevant loads.
Instead of just another box pouch hanging under oneโs front plate bag and simply holding items, ours uses a First Spear Tubeโข to quickly disconnect from the user. Some other notable features include added Shockcord Ports on the front, Tourniquet Elastic Sleeve, Double Slider Front Zipper, and Shockcord Holes on the Rear Panel.

BREAKING: The U.S. Army is putting wearable drone and RF detection directly on soldiers.
LA startup Heaviside Industries has secured a $99M Army contract for its body-worn MOTH spectrum analyzer, giving soldiers real-time RF awareness while operating at the edge.
I made a mock up round to find where the new A-Tip contacts the lands in my barrel. There are several methods to do this and itโs a good idea to do it before you start messing around with seating depths beyond the standard cartridge overall length to avoid accidentally jamming the rounds into the rifling.
30 cal comparison. The new Hornady 177 A-Tip, 175 Aeromatch and Sierra 175 Match King, which has been my primary .308 bullet for many years. If I had any Berger 185 Juggernauts that werenโt already loaded Iโd have included that since itโs the one Iโve been working on lately.

5 men (I added their photo in the inset) have reportedly been arrested arrested on suspicion of a VBIED/car bomb plot against RAF Fairford after their 3 vans were stoped enroute to deliver their explosive payload on the base.
I had to look for a few minutes to find a non blurred photo of the men detained as all of the UK media is trying to conceal the fact that they're not British men (shocker).
UK officials have raised the "threat level" to Delta which is the highest possible. Despite this - you can still see plenty of images of very expensive and sensitive US and British military aircraft sitting out in the open, in Europe, during an ongoing drone/missile war.
You know where there aren't VBIED threats to domestic infrastructure & equipment? Everywhere without muslims.
Plan accordingly...

Went to local festival/parade recently to hang out with some friends.
Political whoever came up to me to hand me a flyer and a piece of cheap candy. Immediately thought of the meme below
I looked at her and started yelling:
"THE GOVERNMENT TAKES HALF MY CHOCOLATE MILK MONEY
THEN THEY TAX MY CHOCOLATE MILK"
She freaked out and was gone before I could finish yelling
"THE WORLD IS A PRISON"
MILITARY SUBMARINES WON'T BE ABLE TO HIDE MUCH LONGER.
QUANTUM IS THE REASON.
A submarine's steel hull bends Earth's magnetic field, leaving a disturbance that trails it through the water. Navies have hunted subs with magnetometers since World War II, but the sensors were so weak an aircraft had to pass almost directly overhead to notice.
Quantum magnetometers change that. Atomic and superconducting sensors read magnetic fields at sensitivities classical instruments can't approach, the same technology that just navigated a Pentagon aircraft across the Pacific with GPS off. Mount them on drones, aircraft, or seabed arrays and the detection range grows with every generation. China has reported airborne quantum magnetometer arrays built for exactly this.
Australia's defense analysts call it the "transparent ocean," and argue the seas could become effectively see through within decades, in the middle of a $200 billion bet on submarines.
Ballistic missile submarines exist because they can't be found. That's what makes a first strike unthinkable. A technology that finds them removes the floor under deterrence.
Quantum is making submarines invisible and visible in the same decade. Whichever side improves faster decides what the ocean is for.
