During the month of fasting, muslims participate long hours of not eating food or water, It is very important that the right amount of measures are taken to prevent issues such as bloating, dehydration, and vitamin deficient. This is a very insightful post. @BEH353#BEH353.

since muslims are fasting, its essential to get nutritions from suhoor & iftar! cut off processed food/meat a week before eid, eat more fruits, dates & veggies! drink lemon water / green tea to reduce bloating after iftar
@Sammyshak67@beh353 Hey Sammy I agree that when you get older its hard it keep up with the proper amount of nutrients as our bodies are slowly deteriorating if old age. Ill be sure to eat my veggies! @BEH353#BEH353
@Sammyshak67@beh353 Hey Sammy I agree that its good to be compassionate, sometimes its important to show some empathy to some situations. @BEH353#BEH353
@Sammyshak67@beh353 Hey Sammy after learning about that I am surprised that all college students arenโt facing similar problems due to some professors overloading us with work! Great post! @BEH353#BEH353
For Week 14 I learned a lot about food addiction about the different types of dairy and milk alternatives. I am@very thankful for @EmmaDArpinoRD for educating the class. I will be sure to educate my fellow colleagues on new information I learned. @BEH353#BEH353.
In week 13 we talked about individuals such as children and older adults and what the dietary plans are for each one of them. If I was a health professional my patient was a child I would direct them into following food labels as they are easy to use. @BEH353#BEH353

In week 12 we went over how there was a sense of bias in the medical industry revolving around obesity, I personally would never judge anyone based off their weight and after watching the clip I hope for the future doctors are less bias and more open minded. #BEH353@BEH353
For week 11 I do agree that obesity is a controversial topic, one fact that really stood out to me was that spending 3.2 hours is what obese individuals do per day for television. I am in no way obese but I also watch tv for 6 hours. #BEH353@BEH353
For week 10 the barrier that I am lacking in is cheapness of unhealthy food versus healthy food as unhealthy food is cheaper to buy sometimes then healthy food and If I knew how to cook more healthy foods then it wouldnโt be such of an issue. @BEH353#BEH353.
For week 7 I believe this article is very important nutrition wise as beets help our bodies function towards performing at peak capability. I also believe that it relates to what we have learned about body weight and fibers. @BEH353#BEH353
#Beets contain high amounts of fiber, which can help maintain a healthy body weight and promote digestive health. Learn more about beets with @SNAP_Ed https://t.co/Gyu1TpUJTE
One of my favorite foods to have would be ramen, Ramen is nutrient dense; meaning it lacks many important nutrients such as fibers, protein, and crucial vitamins. To make, I use hot boiling water and let it sit in ramen for 5 minutes.I have Ramen whenever I study. @BEH353#BEH353
@KipeSeleni@beh353 To myself personally If I used an app It wouldnโt be too difficult as I only eat 1 meal per day and that meal consists of large portions of chicken, beef, and lamb. Which came out around 2500 calories. I find it interesting how it tells you everything in detail. @BEH353#BEH353
@Sammyshak67@beh353 Hey Usama I agree with you that tracking how many calories is very difficult especially when you are in the process of bulking. I myself loose track at how much I am eating from time to tine too and I also eat large portions of chicken.
