While we are advancing this Bill, the government still relies on foreign funding. If this funding does not come through, we risk losing over 5–6 trillion shillings that would have entered the economy to provide a buffer and support various sectors - Hon. Nandala Mafabi
Why dress in crafts not nice Zara shoes?
Regardless of health issues, Instead of imported Zara shoes, I chose to wear well-crafted Ugandan shoes made by a young entrepreneur, Mr. Badru, CEO of @OruhuShoes , a growing local brand. Beyond style and comfort, this is about believing in our own people and investing in Ugandan creativity.
As the next UOX President, one of my key missions is to empower young people, promote Uganda, support small-scale businesses, and ensure that every voice in our digital community matters.
I also appreciate the UOX exhibitions pioneered by Nova. They created a platform for visibility, and under my leadership, we can make them bigger, bolder, and more meaningful for every Ugandan innovator.
Leadership is not only about speaking for people it is about creating opportunities that allow people to grow.
