My father was forcibly disappeared on April 5th. His only “crime” is being my father. The state abducted him not for what he did, but for who I am: a person who speaks, resists, and refuses to be silenced.

This is not just a personal tragedy—it is a brutal message to every Baloch who dares to raise their voice. My case is living proof that enforced disappearances in Balochistan are not random; they are a deliberate tool of political repression. The aim is clear, to break us, to isolate us, to turn our cruelty will not silence me. It will not silence any of us. The systematic use of enforced disappearance must be internationally recognised as a crime, condemned without hesitation, and prosecuted without compromise. These acts violate every principle of justice, humanity, and dignity.

I demand the immediate and unconditional release of my father and all victims of enforced disappearance. I urge international human rights bodies, journalists, and democratic governments to break their silence. Baloch lives matter. Our grief is political, and our resistance is just.

⦿ On July 8, the leadership of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Shah Jee, Beebagr Baloch, Ghafar Baloch, Gulzadi, and Beebo Baloch, was suddenly informed that their preventive detention under the Maintenance of Public Order (3MPO) had been revoked. They were told that police would now arrest them to present before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). This came hours before a scheduled judicial board meeting (between 12–1 PM) meant to formally review their 3MPO status. Instead, the BYC leaders were taken to court between 10–11 AM. There, the ATC judge inquired about the 3MPO, and CTD/intelligence officials falsely claimed it had been removed — leading the court to grant a 10-day police remand under fabricated and baseless FIRs.

⦿ When BYC families and supporters approached the High Court, it was revealed that the 3MPO board had not yet met. In fact, the formal release orders were issued only after the board convened between 12–1 PM — proving that the court appearance and transfer to police custody was premature and unlawful. The state deliberately manipulated procedure to avoid lawful release and impose false terrorism charges. This isn’t an isolated incident but part of a systematic campaign to criminalize peaceful political organizing and punish the BYC for daring to demand justice, rights, and accountability.

⦿ For the past three months, BYC leaders have been held under arbitrary 3MPO detentions. Even after their 3-month period ended, they were kept for 15 more unlawful days. Now, they’re facing false terror charges, without evidence. This repeated misuse of anti-terrorism legislation and detention laws represents a clear weaponization of the legal system. The State of Pakistan is using a coordinated legal and administrative assault on a movement that has mobilized tens of thousands peacefully across Balochistan.
