جسٹس فار یاسین ملک کمپین کے زیرِ اہتمام 18 جنوری 2026 کو ایک اہم اور تاریخی نوعیت کا بین الاقوامی آن لائن سیمینار منعقد کیا جا رہا ہے، جس کا عنوان ہے:
“یاسین ملک کے لیے انصاف: 1994 کی تبدیلی، انسانی حقوق اور قانون کی بالادستی”
یہ سیمینار ایک ایسے نازک اور تشویشناک وقت میں منعقد ہو رہا ہے جب بھارتی حکومت نے کشمیری رہنما یاسین ملک کی عمر قید کی سزا کو سزائے موت میں تبدیل کرنے کی درخواست دائر کر رکھی ہے، جس پر 28 جنوری 2026 کو ایک نہایت اہم عدالتی سماعت متوقع ہے۔ انسانی حقوق کے عالمی حلقے اس پیش رفت کو انصاف، انسانی وقار اور قانون کی بالادستی کے اصولوں کے لیے شدید خطرہ قرار دے رہے ہیں۔
جسٹس فار یاسین ملک کمپین کے کوآرڈینیٹر اور ڈیلس پیس اینڈ جسٹس سینٹر کی پیس کمیٹی کے سربراہ راجہ مظفر نے اپنے بیان میں کہا ہے کہ:
“یہ سیمینار صرف یاسین ملک کے مقدمے تک محدود نہیں بلکہ یہ ایک اصولی سوال ہے کہ آیا امن، عدم تشدد اور سیاسی مکالمے کا راستہ اختیار کرنے والوں کو تحفظ فراہم کیا جائے گا یا انہیں سزاؤں کے ذریعے خاموش کرایا جائے گا۔”
سیمینار میں 1994 کے تاریخی سیزفائر (جنگ بندی) کے پس منظر، اس کے محرکات، اس فیصلے کے اخلاقی، سیاسی اور انسانی اثرات پر تفصیلی روشنی ڈالی جائے گی۔ اس موقع پر یاسین ملک کے قریبی ساتھی، عینی شاہدین اور اُس دور کے فیصلہ ساز حلقوں سے وابستہ افراد شریک ہوں گے جو اس اہم تبدیلی کے اسباب اور نتائج سے براہِ راست واقف ہیں۔
سیمینار میں ان ساتھیوں کی شرکت بھی متوقع ہے جو یاسین ملک کے پاکستان، امریکہ، برطانیہ اور سعودی عرب کے دوروں کے دوران اُن کے ہمراہ رہے۔ یہ مقررین اُن سفارتی ملاقاتوں، سیاسی مکالموں اور امن کی کوششوں پر روشنی ڈالیں گے جنہیں آج بھارتی حکومت کی جانب سے جرم کے طور پر پیش کیا جا رہا ہے۔
اسی طرح، بھارت اور پاکستان کے وزرائے اعظم سے یاسین ملک کی ملاقاتوں کے مقاصد، پس منظر اور حقائق سے آگاہ گواہان بھی اپنے مشاہدات اور شہادتیں پیش کریں گے۔
سیمینار میں معروف بین الاقوامی قانونی ماہرین، ممتاز انسانی حقوق کے کارکنان، اور اقوامِ متحدہ سے وابستہ اداروں کے نمائندگان یاسین ملک کے مقدمے کا جائزہ عالمی انسانی حقوق، بین الاقوامی قانون، منصفانہ ٹرائل اور قانون کی بالادستی کے تناظر میں لیں گے۔ مقررین اس امر کا بھی جائزہ لیں گے کہ آیا اس مقدمے میں اقوامِ متحدہ کے طے شدہ اصولوں اور عالمی قانونی معیارات کی پاسداری کی جا رہی ہے یا نہیں۔
یہ بین الاقوامی سیمینار زوم کے ذریعے آن لائن منعقد کیا جائے گا، جبکہ اسے فیس بک، ٹویٹر (ایکس) اور دیگر سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز پر براہِ راست نشر کیا جائے گا تاکہ دنیا بھر سے زیادہ سے زیادہ افراد، صحافی، وکلا، طلبہ اور انسانی حقوق کے کارکنان اس اہم مکالمے میں شریک ہو سکیں۔
جسٹس فار یاسین ملک کمپین کے مطابق یہ سیمینار ایک فرد کی زندگی سے بڑھ کر عالمی ضمیر کے لیے ایک آزمائش ہے، اور اس کا مقصد عالمی برادری کو متحرک کرنا، حقائق کو اجاگر کرنا اور انصاف، امن اور انسانی حقوق کے لیے آواز بلند کرنا ہے۔
اختتام پر راجہ مظفر نے عالمی برادری، انسانی حقوق کے اداروں اور آزاد میڈیا سے اپیل کی کہ وہ اس سیمینار میں شرکت کریں اور یاسین ملک کے لیے انصاف کی جدوجہد میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔

⚖️ Uphold Agreements — The Final Line of Public Trust ⚖️
Governments are not judged by their words — but by their actions.
The (internationally Un recognized ) Governments of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan signed an agreement with the joint Awami Action Committee of Azad Kashmir.
That wasn’t just ink on paper — it was a commitment to the people, a test of sincerity and responsibility.
Now, reports indicate that both governments are backtracking on their promises.
Let this be clear: when trust between people and power breaks, no system stands firm.
History has warned us time and again 👇
•During the Arab Spring, broken promises ignited a wave that toppled entire regimes.
•In Sri Lanka, public outrage over failed governance brought an entire government to its knees.
•In Bangladesh, youth movements were fueled by betrayal of trust; and in Nepal, sustained public pressure forced political retreat.
These are not distant stories — they are lessons written in fire.
If the governments of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan fail to honour their signed commitments, the public reaction will be beyond control.
This is not a time for delay or denial — it’s a moment of responsibility and reflection.
Nations rise when leaders uphold their word and fall when promises are broken.
I, Raja Muzafar — a Kashmiri observing the situation from the United States, give this sincere message to those in power:
📢 Break the agreement — you break the trust.
📢 Break the trust — you shake the system.
📢 Ignore the people — and history will judge harshly.
Governments can choose: honor their promises or face the verdict of the people — and of history itself.
