I dont know if people will agree with me or not, but "mulk bhi mera, fauj bhi meri" did a lot damage to the movement. The masses do not resent their captors as much as they should. It took only a brief skirmish with India for many to forget the military junta's crimes. Any meaningful resistance without IK on the ground now feels more distant than ever.
