Children and non - political women of a household being punished for the political choices of their family members as our courts look away from the gross abuse and violations.

Even the strongest person cannot deal with the trauma and pain of the last 7 months. This persecution must come to an end immediately.

Women were dragged on the streets of Pakistan, imprisoned for crimes they didn't commit, bullied, harassed, threatened and pushed out of the public sphere.

Politics and public service was my true passion and calling. A decade of serving Pakistan and legislating to protect the women and girls of Pakistan. But many women like me feel hurt and betrayed.

Politicians, especially FROM PMLN and PDM should know this persecution of political opponents and family members has set a precedent which will not end at one political party.

May Allah give some the strength to fight for what they believe in, and to others who want to walk away from their passion.

In the last two years, 325 batters in the world have scored 500 runs in T20s. There is no one from Pakistan in Top 49 in terms of strike-rate. On 50th place you have Mohammad Haris (SR 151.96), who was also by far the best striker in PSL this year (350 runs at SR 186.17).

Surprisingly, he has been dropped from Pakistan's T20I squad for NZ tour. If he is rested, it's an even bigger surprise cos you don't rest a 22 yo boy who plays in one format only.

Haris was one of the finds for Pakistan in the T20 WC last year but has been axed prolly cos he failed on extremely tough pitches in the series against Afghanistan where almost every batter failed.

Pakistan's biggest issue in T20 currently is batters playing with lack of intent so I'm not really sure what message we are giving to the aggressive batters by axing them after 4-5 failures.
