JKLF UK Zone Successfully Concludes Intra-Party Elections – A Model of Democratic Transparency.

Notingham: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) UK Zone has successfully concluded its intra-party elections for the next three years, Held in Nottingham, the election process was conducted under the supervision of an independent and impartial Election Commission, with the presence of neutral observers from both the UK and Azad Kashmir.
A large number of dedicated members from across the UK participated in the convention, exercising their democratic right to elect a new leadership. Observers praised the atmosphere of transparency, discipline, and democratic spirit, declaring it an exemplary process rarely seen in political parties.

Newly Elected Cabinet (2025–2028):
• President: Liaqat Lone
• Senior Vice President: Yousaf Chaudhry
• Vice Presidents: Rasib Kashmiri, M. Asad Kayani, Zafar Mahmood, Muhammad Raees,
• General Secretary: Tanveer Malik
• Deputy General Secretary: Jameel Ashraf
• Assistant Secretary: Imad Malik
• Chief Organiser: Gulfraz Khan
• Deputy Organiser: Muhammad Naseer
• Press Secretary: Sikandar Khan
• Finance Secretary: Sanwar Hussain
• Assistant Finance Secretary: Nadeem Iqbal

Presidential candidate Gulfraz Khan graciously accepted the results and congratulated the newly elected President, pledging full support and teamwork for the future. Similarly, press secretary candidate Umar Sharif came on stage to personally congratulate Sikandar Khan and assured him of his full cooperation.

• Sajid Siddiqui (President, JKLF AJK & Gilgit Baltistan Zone)
• Chacha Yaqoob Kashmiri (President Traders Association Kotli & Senior Leader Awami Action Committee)
• Zaheer Zahid (President, JKLF Europe Zone)
• Najeeb Afser (Leader, Liberation League UK)
• Nazim Bhatti (Leader, Liberation Front UK)
• Members of civil society from both the UK and Azad Kashmir.
All observers expressed full confidence in the transparency and integrity of the election process, calling it a benchmark for democratic conduct in diaspora politics.
