Due to fifa's new H2H rules, for the first time in World Cup history, we will see 2 teams actively wanting to lose a match. In the Austria vs Algeria match, both teams are safely through after beating Jordan due to the new H2H rule. However, the team that finishes in 2nd in Group J will face Spain, when the team that finishes 3rd will likely face Switzerland. Obviously with neither team wanting to face Spain, Austria will be hoping to lose and drop down to 3rd, whilst Alergia will be hoping for a draw or a loss to stay 3rd...
What a bizarre outcome this is.. 🤯
HISTORY WAS MADE 🐐 Messi dominated the timeline yesterday with a record-breaking performance for #Argentina

"Ronaldo is 41! He would have carried Portugal on his back if he was younger"
Meanwhile 39 year old Messi is tracking back to midfield to collect the ball, moving it while feinting, then creating a clear chance to a teammate who misses it. Then he pursues the rebound, shoots, catches the rebound and scores
What is your excuse?!
In 2016, Messi retired from the Argentina national team after heartbreakingly losing the Copa América final, his fourth major final loss with his country.
10 years later, he’s a 2x Copa América champion, a World Cup champion and now the all-time men’s top World Cup scorer.
What a turn around in his international career 🐐
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Inter Miami complete deal to sign Casemiro as new midfielder, here we go!
Verbal agreement sealed with all parties involved and all formal steps resolved, now waiting to sign and announce the Brazilian.
Casemiro wants to play with Messi. Future in MLS. 🇺🇸
🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on Portugal:
“I think the time has come for me to explain why Zlatan Ibrahimović and I kicked Speed out after he predicted Portugal would win the World Cup just days ago. The reason is what we saw today.
I was never convinced by the hype surrounding Portugal before the tournament, and this performance only reinforced my doubts.
At first glance, you'd think DR Congo were the favourites. They may have even had more shots on target than Portugal, which is incredibly embarrassing.
When you compare Portugal to teams like Argentina and France, it's like men against boys. Some people won't want to hear that, but I don't see Portugal going very far in the knockout stages.
That's honestly what I believe.”
🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Ronaldo with some incredible words for Lionel Messi after his hattrick last night:
"It's time for the world to stop hiding and accept the fact that Messi is the GREATEST of all time."
"Every time Messi steps onto the pitch, everything becomes historic and elegant."
"He continues to perform every season + at the World Cup, yet there are still people doubting him. This is an unforgettable and historic night that will be remembered forever in the history books."
"Records are made to be broken, and the person who broke this one surprises no football fan in the world."
Lionel Messi is probably the last player you could ever describe as an unknown quantity.
Still, in the weeks leading up to his sixth World Cup, a few doubts hung in the air. How fit would he be? Would he be a guaranteed starter for Argentina? Would he still, with his 39th birthday just around the corner, have the energy and drive to dominate matches at this level?
It only took him 45 minutes to make all of those questions look deeply idiotic.
Ditch the doubts. We're still living in Messi's world.

From the ECB:
"The share of gold in total official foreign reserves – comprising both foreign exchange and gold holdings – had increased to 27% at the end of 2025.... The share of gold now surpasses both that of the euro (15%) and US Treasuries (22%). However, this development largely reflects valuation effects.... Correcting for such valuation effects by using the gold price at the end of 2023, the share of the euro (16%) remains at par with the share of gold (16%), while the share of US Treasuries continues to be markedly higher (26%)."
