A lot of women, when they reach this stage, just stop caring about the husband's needs altogether and expect that marriage will still go on the way it did before

@moreAvoda @MeghanEMurphy The elephant in the room is women's hormones and the drop off of sex drive after perimenopause/menopause. Blame the husband all you want, a woman's body after 40 just doesn't desire sex the same way it used to in the early years of marriage.

@cherpers @MeghanEMurphy If the sexlessness starts in wife's late 30's and early 40's, you can bet that it is more due to the hormones killing her sex drive and less due to the husband. All the problems she sees in her husband now were there 5 years ago as well but she enjoyed sex with him.

@MeghanEMurphy The issue is difference in how aging affects sex drive in the two genders.Women's hormones & sex drive fall off the cliff after perimenopause & menopause in the 40's. While men's hormones & sex drive also decline after 40, it's more of a gradual decline, not a fall off the cliff.

@DThucydides I think IRGC has alienated a whole generation of gulf arabs from Iran. Even if the regime changes or softens its tone, it will take a while for relations between Iran and GCC to become normal. I am amazed how Qataris are still trying their best for peace and ceasefire.

@OnlineShoaib @DThucydides Understood, but attacking an airport is not an attack on the US bases. This attack is just bullying by Iran. You know these smaller Gulf states can't defend themselves and are totally at the mercy of either US, Israel, or Iran. This will make them even more dependent on the US.
