What do pharmacists Jamie, Joddie, David, Mandeep and Mazen have in common? They have all chosen to protect themselves, their patients & their loved ones by getting a COVID-19 booster on top of their two-dose vaccine series.
Book your booster today: https://t.co/oU1Y4NZjqa
Starting today, select pharmacies in the Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, and Tumbler Ridge will be taking appointments for Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations. Patients can book appointments for a 1st or 2nd dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

Grateful to have received my second shot of Astra Zeneca today at my local pharmacy in North Van.
Special thanks to Pharmacist Holly for the shot and the folks across 🇨🇦 who are working around the clock to keep Canadians safe and healthy as we get through this pandemic.
Starting next Monday, pharmacies will be calling patients who received their first dose of AstraZeneca to book their appointments for 2nd dose. The pharmacy where you got your first dose will contact you to book your second dose appointment.

Fire Update: Visited the site this morning. The fire is still going at Pier Park, but it is now fully contained to the old pier section. The fire could last a few days and will not be able to be put out until they remove the deck. 1/3
Fire chief Tim Armstrong of @NewWestFF says the fire at Pier Park is under control but much has been lost in the park including lounging areas and the volleyball courts on @NEWS1130
Devastating fire in Pier Park this evening. Just spoke to our Fire Chief. We are receiving assistance from fire departments across the region. The fire is being contained to the old part of the pier, but it is likely the old pier of the park will be completely destroyed.
Residents near Penticton #wildfires: If you're evacuating, please don't forget your medications. If you're running low or almost out, don't worry. Pharmacists anywhere in B.C. can get you an emergency supply. With #COVID19BC concerns, don't go to emergency. @Interior_Health
Thank you to our members who attended our remote Annual General Meeting this evening! Pictured are BCPhA counsel Sara Levine, President Keith Shaw, CEO Geraldine Vance and Controller Gary Mui, who all practiced social distancing to ensure we could safely host the virtual event!
We know our community pharmacists have been making sacrifices to continue serving the community during COVID19. We want to thank and recognize each one of them. Here is one example of how pharmacists have adapted to the new normal.
Please take the time to thank your pharmacist.
Today, Minister of Health @AdrianDix thanked pharmacy teams for their ongoing work during the COVID-19 pandemic and also explained BC’s challenges on restricting dispensing limits to 30 days. Thank you, Minister, for recognizing pharmacists!
