BREAKING: KTN has aired a major investigation alleging Kenyan IDs are being sold to people in Somalia for as little as KSh 15,000. We share some of the revelations.
Look at the images below.
The 2nd image shows Hassan Mohamed Nur's Somali identification documents. According to those records, he was born in Mogadishu on 14 December 1985.
The third image is a copy of a Kenyan ID featured in the KTN investigation. Key details have been blurred.
According to that Kenyan document, the holder was born in Tarbaj on 1 July 1985.
Same person. Different birthplace. Different date of birth.
If this were simply a case of lawful naturalization, why would the date of birth be different?
The investigation further alleges that the individual now holds a Kenyan passport.
And it doesn't end there; residents from Somalia and Ethiopia are being sold IDs. And it's scary. I am sharing more examples shortly. Follow me here- sholla ard
If warlords and criminals can easily buy a Kenyan ID for Sh15k, our borders are essentially open to the highest bidder. This isn't a loophole; it's a security nightmare.
Why is Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen silent on this institutional rot?

Nowadays we learn about our projects in foreign media since ours are compromised and Seth olale range goes as far as talking about arsenal and other mundane things while the country burns.
Withholding information should be illegal.
How can an African president visit Norway to seek “an operator of a shipping port” and claim that such primitivity “benefits Kenya?” Does the so-called fishing port even exist? This is embarrassing!
Do not let people gaslight you into thinking that duality does not exist. You can be grateful and annoyed. You can want more and be grateful for what you have. You can be angry and frustrated and still be grateful. A lot of religious and spiritual gaslighting out here.
Anyway, just want women around me to understand, you need to start aspiring towards financial independence with the exact same urgency society wants you to aspire towards marriage.
They had malaria and meningitis patients registered as Ebola victims in DRC. Citizens protested, burnt down quarantines and magically there was an 87% drop in numbers. Swali kubwa ni, why is the US still insisting on building a facility in Kenya? Biashara gani ingine wako nayo?
Amkeni.
Have you seen the National Disaster Management Bill that seeks to grant the president mandate to declare a national disaster, prevent movement from territories they deem to have those disasters and forcefully evict people there?
Ebola..Nanyuki?
"Rival lesbian gangs" is a coded phrase meant to elicit rage. We are meant to see the horror of how demonic same-sex relationship can only lead to gang behaviour that kills others.
This is just stupid and unacceptable coded language. Infuriating! Girls died from systemic issues!
Happening in Nanyuki right now. The government has decided that the Ebola facility at Laikipia Airbase is going ahead, whether residents like it or not. Buses are said to have arrived last night, and the crowds out today are massive, even bigger than the Finance Bill maandamano. Nobody can tell who’s who anymore. Are these hired goons brought in to cause chaos, or genuine protesters who travelled to stand with the people of Nanyuki? Nobody knows. What we do know is that the government’s answer to citizens raising grievances has been gunfire. This is what it looks like when a state stops listening.
The upside to living alone is that I have full access to a space where I can allow the occasional waves of grief to be ugly and uncontained. Some moments call for a good loud weep that collapses all your defences and disallows grief from making a home in you.
