As we break our fast, we enter the 21st night of the blessed month of Ramadan, the first odd night of the last ten nights, the most sacred and spiritually rewarding nights of the month.
May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and grant us the opportunity to witness and benefit from Laylatul Qadr.

Earlier today, with @ProfIsaPantami, after the Ramadan tafseer he delivered at the Annur Mosque in Abuja. May Allah reward him abundantly for continuously sharing knowledge and guiding the ummah and may Allah grant us the understanding and ability to practice what we learn.
The Battle of Badr took place in 624 CE, on the 17th of Ramadan, 2 AH. Today, it has been approximately 1,402 years since. It was fought between the Muslims of Madinah, led by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the Quraysh army from Makkah. Muslims were about 313 fighters, while the Quraysh had around 1,000 soldiers. The battle ended in a decisive victory for the Muslims, which greatly strengthened the Muslim community.
