This afternoon, Minister @onduhungirehe held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji @W_Elkhereiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Their discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and exploring new areas of partnership between Rwanda and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Today in Namibia, PS @mukekaclem joined the commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of UNSC Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace & Security, hosted by H.E. President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
Speaking at the high-level panel, she reaffirmed Rwanda’s commitment to the WPS agenda — not just as policy, but as a lived reality.

She reaffirmed the strong historical bonds between Rwanda and Uganda and highlighted the renewed drive to deepen cooperation across sectors such as trade and investment.
Rwanda and Brazil held their first-ever Political Consultations this morning in Kigali, co-chaired by PS @MukekaClem and Amb. Carlos Duarte, Secretary for Africa & the Middle East at @Itamaraty_EN.
The consultations marked a milestone in the growing Rwanda–Brazil partnership, sealed by the signing of an Agreement on Political Consultations — opening a new phase of dialogue and cooperation.

Earlier today, PS @MukekaClem received Mr. Arthur Germond, concluding his tenure as Country Director of @AFD_France. They reflected on Rwanda–AFD cooperation, with PS commending his role in advancing the partnership.
This morning at the Ghana High Commission in Kigali, Permanent Secretary @MukekaClem signed the Condolence Book in tribute to the 8 victims of the August 6 helicopter crash.
Rwanda stands in solidarity with the families of the victims and all those affected, and share in the grief of the Ghanaian nation during this difficult time of mourning.
Rwanda is hosting the 3rd Session of the Joint Permanent Commission on Cooperation with Zimbabwe over the next three days.
This morning at the Kigali Convention Centre, PS @MukekaClem and Ambassador Pearson T. Chigiji, Chief Director of Political Affairs at Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, co-chaired the Senior Officials meeting.
In their opening remarks, both co-chairs emphasized the strong and longstanding bilateral and multilateral ties between the two countries.
PS @MukekaClem received a farewell call from H.E. Kevin Colgan, outgoing non-resident Ambassador of Ireland to Rwanda, as he concludes his tour of duty.
They reflected on the growing Rwanda-Ireland partnership, key milestones in cooperation, from education and development to multilateral diplomacy, and looked ahead to new opportunities.
