I WISH!
I wish everyone could have visited #Rwanda three years before the Genocide Against the Tutsi to truly understand what Rwanda was like. The youth were being trained to become killers, handed machetes to use against their neighbors—the Tutsi. Whether unborn, a child, or an adult, being Tutsi was a crime. Friends turned into enemies, and horror reigned.
I wish everyone could have seen Rwanda during the genocide, when our nation became a place of terror and death, with no one to say stop.
I wish everyone could have visited Rwanda a year after the genocide ended, to witness the devastation—the burden of burying the dead, the destroyed homes, the people with nothing left but broken hearts and bodies.
I wish everyone could have seen the rebuilding process, the struggle to regain trust, and the incredible resilience of the Rwandan people as they started to heal and unite to honor the victims by building a better future.
I wish everyone could understand how hard and almost impossible it was to get here, how our leaders should be commended, recognized, and celebrated as heroes for achieving the impossible, instead of being criticized for their high level of patriotism and their vision to uplift Rwandans.
I wish no one would dare accuse Rwandans of using the Genocide for any purpose, because we still bear the pain inside. We cannot stay silent, as denial lurks everywhere, and denial breeds the seeds of another genocide or other critical crimes. Those who dare to trivialize the genocide know nothing of its horror. The genocide is an unspeakable crime. What Rwandans have been able to tell the world so far is not even 40% of what they went through.
I wish everyone would appreciate the hard work and resilience of Rwandans and reject any hateful actions like those by #ForbiddenStories, which aim to destroy us.
I will wish and wish, but most of all, I wish Rwandans to stay united, resilient, and ready to fight against anyone who tries to destroy our nation, no matter where they come from. No one will care for us or wish us well more than we can do for ourselves.
To @SamuelBaker_B, remember, Usenya urwe umutiza umuhoro!”

You can date many at the same time, you can stop your relationship anytime you want, you can skim through them quickly, you can go as deep as you want - you can have them in anyway you want and anywhere you desire.
