If you’ve followed me for 6 years, you know I don’t usually comment 1:1 like this. This is just one such situation.
I had a lot of respect for this lady for speaking up and fighting for women empowerment.
But over time, I’ve noticed that around almost every Hindu festival, she comes out strongly criticizing the practices and painting a very negative picture of Hindu traditions and men.
As time passed, I started feeling that the criticism is quite selective. I fail to understand why.
I don’t know if it’s ideological conditioning, selective outrage, or something else, but some celebrities are clearly too deep into their own bubble.
“She says, ‘you get salary from our taxes’.
We stay away from our families, not for the salary, but for our country, for you. We’re ready to lay down our lives for you. Sharam karo.”
A heartfelt message from a soldier who is clearly hurt. 🥹❤️🇮🇳

"Army salaries are paid from our taxes," said a female tourist in Ladakh where traffic was being regulated.
Don't know more details but this comment is a degradation of the soldiers sacrifice.
Army personnel also pay taxes.
Being border area, Ladakh has security sensitivities.
🇮🇳 Minamarg Check Post Incident | Ladakh Sector
A video from the Minamarg (Minimarg) check post has circulated showing a tourist arguing with security personnel over a temporary road restriction.
The Indian Army, in coordination with local police and civil administration, implements such measures as a routine and essential part of anti-terrorism and security operations in this highly sensitive high-altitude border region near the LoC.
Road closures, cordons, and regulated movement are standard when:
• Intelligence or operational requirements demand a search/cordon to neutralise potential threats
• Weather, landslides, or convoy movements require safety clearances
• The safety of residents, tourists, and troops must be prioritised
These are not arbitrary or “anti-tourist.” They exist precisely so that civilians, including tourists can travel safely in an area that has historically faced infiltration and terror risks.
Compromising a security protocol for individual convenience could endanger dozens of lives.
To the individual in the video and similar voices:
Being “Gen Z” (or any generation) is not a qualification, a badge of entitlement, or a licence to disregard security protocols. National security does not pause for slogans, tax receipts, or generational self-identification.
Comparing legitimate operational restrictions to “locking Kashmiris” is both factually misleading and disrespectful to the forces who protect every citizen, Kashmiri, tourist, or otherwise in this challenging terrain.
Threatening Parliament while creating a public confrontation at a sensitive post does not strengthen democracy; it risks operational security.
We urge all visitors and residents:
Support these measures. They are conducted for your safety and the nation’s security. Patience and cooperation save lives.
The Army and police work hand-in-hand daily so that tourism and normal life can continue in J&K and Ladakh.
Respect the uniform. Respect the protocol. Respect the reality of the frontier.

How to manufacture fake outrage in 4 easy steps - ft. @ysjagan:
Step 1: Boycott the Assembly.
Step 2: Skip the DSC discussion happening inside.
Step 3: Move adjournment notices demanding… a discussion on DSC!
Step 4: Ask me if I’m “ready for a discussion”. 😂
I’m in the House today, putting the facts on DSC on record. Care to show up, @ysjagan ?
