@sealmoee@average_garg@femcelbiradri I mean that may be your opinion, but tens of thousands of letterboxd user agree with me (for better or worse). My friends and I fell asleep multiple times watching Backrooms
@sealmoee@average_garg@femcelbiradri I love psychological horror (Cure or Pulse for example), but it also has to be good and scary to be qualified as horror, which Backrooms fails to do.
@femcelbiradri You unfortunately can’t expect the general audience to prefer an atmospheric horror movie like Backrooms to a more accessible and scarier movie like Obsession.
@WhipHybridREAL@loonzium “I’m being disingenuous” dude we have been going in circles like morons cuz you refuse to say anything else, there’s no constructive dialogue because you have convinced yourself of that and the fact that we’re still doing this proves we are losers, sorry if you can’t accept it
@WhipHybridREAL@loonzium You keep saying it’s not “worth” talking to “us” (no clue why I’m being included cuz I’ve read the manga and know the difference, but I’ll play along) but you still answering 😭 at least try to defend Yoru, like DAMN we get it op used the wrong name ONCE
@WhipHybridREAL@loonzium “You do not meet my standards” 😭 my guy we are arguing over a MANGA that was published in JUMP, not Dostoevsky or quantum physics you don’t have “standards” we are LOSERS. Holy shit get over yourself 😭
@WhipHybridREAL@loonzium I’m hearing the same things over and over again and yet nothing of substance. You’re either being obtuse or baiting. Good for you if you liked whatever happened to Asa/Yoru towards end, because lord knows how disappointed I was
@WhipHybridREAL@loonzium I mean fair, I did deflect, but the main point remains that no one defended Asa/Yoru from OP’s point. And also genuine mistakes do happen so I don’t understand that whole talk about “IQ” and whatnot.
@WhipHybridREAL@loonzium The way I see it you won’t engage cuz you know CSM just got really bad towards the end, especially with Asa’s (or Yoru, here you go) treatment. But that’s okay. Fujimoto was clearly tired and overworked and wanted to be done with the story, no harm in admitting that
