This afternoon, alongside Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Hon. Salim Mvurya, Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka, Webuye West Hon. Dan Wanyama, Bungoma Senator Wafula Wakoli and his nominated counterpart Consolata Wakwabubi, MP John Makali, we reviewed the stalled rehabilitation of Masinde Muliro Kanduyi Stadium.
I sought clarity on the works done, pending tasks, timelines and completion plans. I am pleased the Ministry has committed to completing the stadium by October.
The facelift will also include basketball, volleyball, netball and handball courts, alongside a public swimming pool, to help nurture diverse talents.
With 2027 Africa Cup of Nations approaching, the planned upgrade to international standards could position the stadium to host regional and international matches.

Congratulations to our #VisitRwanda partner Paris Saint-Germain @PSG_inside on their well-deserved UEFA @ChampionsLeague title and on being crowned champions for the second consecutive year.
Congratulations as well to @Arsenal on reaching the final and fighting with determination until the very end.
Both clubs have made their supporters proud, but tonight, PSG proved to be the better team!
Fred Arocho has set the internet on fire after claiming that Radio Jambo was mistreating and abusing Diblo Kaberia, and that this is why he died.
Arocho further claims he does not want to see Radio Africa journalists and managers at his burial, accusing them of abusing Diblo for 17 years straight.
People in the comment section under the clip posted by TV 47 claim that very few journalists at Radio Africa are paid well. The rest reportedly receive peanuts, are overworked, and often have delayed salaries. Arocho says he will speak up and refuses to be silenced.

Hello @LCFC
I’m Olaogun, a winger also played as a striker from Nigeria. I’ve spent the last 3 years training daily to get one shot at professional football.
I’m not asking for a contract. I’m asking for 7 days on trial to show you what I can do. If I’m not good enough, I’ll walk away with no hard feelings.
I’m fast, direct, and I work harder than anyone on the pitch.
My highlights are here: https://t.co/nD68FCLsMn
Thanks,
Olaogun
